Design villa in Wroclaw presented

The villa-design for architects Aleksandra and Mateusz Chachaj and their two dochters has been presented.
The free standing villa must resemble the profile of the 30’s villa previously demolished in the plot.
Characteristic elements of the old villa, like bay-windows, must be brought back into the new design.

Op 15 februari presenteerde wethouder Tjeerd Herrema van Almere de deelnemers die de volgende stap gaan nemen in het realiseren van hun Tiny House op locatie. De BouwEXPO Tiny Housing deelnemers startten dit voorjaar – ieder in eigen tempo – met de bouw (of plaatsing) van hun Tiny House. De publieksmanifestatie die aan de BouwEXPO is gekoppeld staat gepland in het najaar van 2017. De bouwplannen zijn te vinden op: http://www.bouwexpo-tinyhousing.nl/bouw-expo/de-deelnemers/

Tiny-house Slim-Fit has its first client

Tiny-house Slim-Fit has since December its first client: Elements Interactive Holding b.v., situated in Almere poort, is a multinational company which builds applications for web and mobile. Slim-Fit will be their first Dutch home for foreign collaborators. The definitive design has been recently presented. We are currently working on the preparations for the application for the building-permit.

Since January the Slim-Fit team is made complete with the collaboration of Tom Grootscholten (Lineair Bowmanagement) and Fevzi Atçeken (Atko).

The location of the future house of architects Aleksandra and Mateusz Chachaj is a big green plot located in a quiet villa-neighbourhood on the south of Wroclaw.
The new villa must bring back the volume of the previous house which had to be demolished.
The city of Wroclaw is keen to preserving the traditional urban and architectonic characteristics of this area dating from the thirties.

Renovation school’s class-rooms into loft for four

The 19th century school-building is situated on the Witte de Withstraat in The Hague.
Designers duo Carvalho & Bernau felt for two bright ground-floor class-rooms attached to the back garden. This renovation design will preserve the great spatiality of the rooms combining it with intimate living spaces.

Download de onderzoek “Samen, hoe wonen wij in de toekomst” Samen_ANAROCHA architecture

In opdracht van het College B&W organiseren verscheidene Haarlemse instellingen en platforms in juni bijeenkomsten en gesprekken over de toekomst van Haarlem. Doel hiervan is ideeën op te doen, scenario’s te bedenken en visie te ontwikkelen (zie ook www.haarlem2040.nl) Het ABC Architectuurcentrum verkent zo de ruimtelijke toekomst van deze stad en wil dat doen samen met een aantal deskundigen én vooral samen met u. Onder de titel WWW. WONEN, WERKEN & WINKELEN in 2040 vindt op dinsdagavond 14 juni om 19.30 uur een stadsgesprek plaats in het ABC. Namens het College treedt Jeroen van Spijk, wethouder RO, hierbij op als respondent.

Programma
Voor het stadsgesprek ‘WWW. WONEN, WERKEN & WINKELEN in 2040’ is een zestal inspirerende inleidende sprekers uitgenodigd, te weten:
Zef Hemel, bijzonder hoogleraar grootstedelijke vraagstukken UvA, over wonen en de MRA
Ana Rocha, bureau ANAROCHA Architecture, over haar onderzoek naar wonen in de toekomst, getiteld ‘Samen’
Erik de Graaf, docent-onderzoeker stedelijke dynamiek HvA over mobiliteit, demografie en werken
Daniela Schelle, associate partner Kraaijvanger Architects, over het kantoor van de toekomst
Peter Groenendaal, adviseur Placemaking Plus, over de openbare ruimte en haar winkelende gebruikers
Tony Wijntuin, adviseur WYNE Strategy & Innovation, over vernieuwende winkelomgevingen

Onder leiding van Gabriël Verheggen (directeur ABC) en Renée Borgonjen (architectuurhistorica) gaan genoemde inleiders vervolgens met elkaar én vooral met het publiek in gesprek om de geschetste vergezichten verder te verkennen.
